Responsibilities:

• Install all phases of residential electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
• Adhere to all OSHA safety codes
• Adhere to JP Electric & Solar quality workmanship standards

• Journeyman min 5 year
• Electrician Apprentice 1 -2 years.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools

JP Electric & Solar is seeking a Lead Solar Installer. Work consists primarily roof top residential, including ground mounts and some light commercial projects.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

Seeking experienced only installers. minimum of 5-years’ experience in residential solar installations of roof and ground mount solar systems. Must be able to interpret schematics and single line diagrams, layout projects with working knowledge of building codes pertaining to solar and general electrical.

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including extreme heat on rooftops, cold and humidity. Work at multiple story rooftops, with constant bending, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, pushing and pulling and lifting up to 55 lbs.
